Sakura Elevators and Japan's Yaskawa Electric, a global leader in drive technology and industrial automation, have entered into a strategic partnership. Yaskawa, founded in 1915 and headquartered in Kitakyushu, Japan, is now working with Sakura Elevators, which markets its products in dozens of countries worldwide.

In December 2024, Sakura Elevators General Manager Yang Chi-chung and Yaskawa President Ogasawara Takashi officially signed the agreement. This collaboration marks a new era in elevator technology, bringing together Sakura Elevators' strong expertise in elevator control systems with Yaskawa's world-class Japanese drive technology.

The partnership will focus on co-developing and integrating a new generation of ECS (Elevator Control System) to enhance elevator operational efficiency, safety, and smart applications. This new system, exclusively sold and used by Sakura Elevators, will utilize the latest Japanese technology to provide precise control, highly efficient operation, and intelligent management. This will result in a smoother and more comfortable ride for passengers.
